LG Electronics Adopts Apache’s Dynamic Power Closure Solution for SoC Designs

Mountain View, Calif. – April 12, 2006 – Apache Design Solutions, the technology leader in physical power integrity solutions for system-on-chip (SoC) designs, today announced that LG Electronics (LG), a leader in consumer electronics and telecommunications, has adopted Apache’s full-chip dynamic power closure solution, RedHawk-EV with automated noise fixing and optimization. LG selected RedHawk based on its good correlation results, the ability to analyze the impact of power/ground noise on critical path timing, and automatically fix and optimize power problem areas. For SoC designs at 130nm process and below, LG will use Apache’s products from early in the design process through final validation to ensure power closure sign-off.
