Apache Design Solutions Expands Executive Team

Mountain View, Calif. – April 19, 2006 – Apache Design Solutions, the technology leader in physical power integrity solutions for system-on-chip (SoC) designs, today announced the expansion of company’s executive management team with the promotion of Keith Mueller to senior vice president of business development and Dr. Dian Yang to vice president of product management, along with the appointment of Craig Shirley as vice president of worldwide sales.

Keith Mueller was formerly Apache’s vice president of worldwide sales and marketing where he played a critical role in growing Apache’s business from it’s inception to profitability in less than four years. Under Mueller’s direction, Apache grew its customer base to over 30 companies, including 7 of the top 10 semiconductor companies worldwide. In his new role, Mueller will be responsible for strategic alliances with key technology and industry partners to strengthen and expand the company’s business and continue to serve our customer’s needs.

Dr. Dian Yang was formerly Apache’s vice president of business development where he has made major contributions to the company’s close relationships with key foundries. In his new role, Yang will work closely with customers and R&D to ensure that Apache’s solutions continue to meet the challenges faced by the engineers. Yang will maintain his current position as the general manager of Asia with territories including China, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.
