Description:
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in implementing and maintaining a scalable network of heterogeneous systems including Microsoft Windows, Unix and Linux. This position may require off hours, on-call responsibilities, and work at a fast pace environment.
Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years of System Administration experience in heterogeneous environment.
- Knowledge on SOX compliance.
- Independent problem-solving and self direction.
- Solid understanding of most aspects of the operating systems.
- Familiar with fundamental networking in UNIX world and Microsoft world.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple issues/problems with minimal supervision, excellent organizational skills and teamwork.
- Ensure the reliability and operations of production services.
- Work closely with the Senior IT manager to implement, deploy or maintain any IT projects.
- Provide recommendations on architectural enhancements or changes to the infrastructure to improve the efficiency, performance and TCO.
- Work with other IT staffs to analyze and resolve problems associated with technical issues and recommending solutions.
- BA/BS in computer science or engineering field.
