Qualifications:
- Knowledge in electronic circuits and physical designs
- Knowledge or experience in the preferred areas such: as VLSI circuit simulation methodology, Signal integrity in high-speed I/O design (including transmission lines) and Package and PCB layout and modeling
- Experience in using or supporting EDA tools such as: LEF DEF GDSII, Liberty STA, Extraction SPEF/DSPF, Spice, Programming skills using Perl TCL shell or C
- Good communication and problem solving skills with customers and R&D
- Team oriented with a desire to learn

Sr. Applications Engineer - Dallas, Texas - JobID: APA100111
Description: - Perform pre-sale evaluations and post-sale support of Apache’s products
- Conduct technical presentations and demos
- Deliver training classes
- Participate and help in collateral preparation for sales, product marketing and product engineering
Qualifications:
- Solid background in circuit, electro-magnetics, transmission line theory
- Experience in solving signal and power integrity issues for high-speed designs
- Chip level experience especially with high speed IO interfaces a plus.
- Experience with Electromagnetic tools a plus.
- Knowledge of Spice required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Excellent computer and software tool usage skills with knowledge of scripting languages
- MS or Ph.D. in EE (or related field) plus 3-5 years of relevant working experience
- Be flexible to travel
